Overview:
The Veteran Friendly Employers Association Partners with
Military Bases, Local, Regional and National Industry groups who promote and support hiring Veterans.

Why it works:
The Hiring process is expensive and laborious. We believe in establishing bonds of collaboration between Veteran Friendly Employers through pre-interview appointments, internships, externships, training and job preparation.

The Goal:
The Veterans Employers Association goal is to create and environment of Positive Relationship where Employers, Transitioning Military and Veterans can identify a good job "Match"

Create a Positive environment where Employers may be able to better understand the Military Mind-set. and help Veterans and for Transitioning military to better understand the civilian environment.

Membership:

• Access talent from the military and veteran community.

The NVCCSD is committed to improving the lives of veterans, transitioning military members, and their families through career-focused training, workforce development, and employment support.
We partner with both nonprofit and for-profit employers to deliver programs that increase job readiness, promote veteran inclusion in the workforce, and drive long-term economic mobility.

Our services are provided at no cost to employers and are made possible through state and federal programs, such as ETP WIOA, Sponsorships and other similar programs that directly support our charitable mission.

The organization received reimbursements through Reimbursement-Funded  programs such as ETP/WIOA and other similar programs and or Sponsorships/Grants to conduct no-cost training programs for employees of businesses that support employee advancement, upskilling and veteran and military transitioning employment. These activities are consistent with the organization’s charitable mission of promoting economic mobility and workforce inclusion for veterans, transitioning service members their families and underserved populations. All funds received are used exclusively to support NVCCSD's exempt purposes. ​
