Welcome!
The NVCC serves as the Incubation Platform, Empowering Veteran-Leaders who are Ready, Willing and Able to Lead Projects in their Local Communities.
Who We Are -and- What We Do
- As the primary Licensing Authority for organizations serving the military community, the National Veterans Chamber (NVCC) is responsible for awarding licenses to approved veteran-focused programs and veteran-focused chambers of commerce. This role ensures that organizations maintain high standards of excellence and service delivery, creating a trustworthy ecosystem for veterans and their families.
The NVCC strategic framework: - Mission: To improve the lives of veterans, transitioning service members, and their families through career-focused training, workforce development, and employment support.
- Vision: To serve as a Project Incubation Platform, empowering veteran-leaders who are prepared to lead transformative projects within their local communities.
- Purpose: To promote collaboration and empowerment by supporting innovative ideas in key areas such as Education, Employment, Wellness, and Entrepreneurship.
- By licensing specific programs like the V.E.T. Connect Program, the NVCC validates the credibility of local initiatives and ensures they are aligned with a national movement to foster economic mobility and long-term community reintegration. This licensing structure provides a unified "One-Unit" approach, where approved chapters and programs work together to advocate for systemic change and the success of the veteran community.
The NVCC’s licensing framework is specifically designed for two main types of programs:
1. Programs (Educational & Training Workshops)
The NVCC awards licenses to veteran-focused programs that demonstrate "transformative potential" in areas such as education, employment, and entrepreneurship. These programs must align with the NVCC's Project Incubation Platform to ensure they provide high-quality support for the military community.
2. Local Veteran Chapters / Organizations:
The NVCC licenses local veteran-chapters that serve local communities with resources and veteran-focus services.
