Who should participate in the Mentors/Advisor Network?

1. ​If you are currently serving as an Advisor, Counselor or Coach for at a University, College Hospital or Community Organization.
2. If you are connected with Veteran resources and want to help fellow Veterans connect with those resources.
3. ​You are able to provide guidance on specialty areas ie; education, business, wellness, Financial Planning, Life Coaching and others.

Overview:
The Network welcomes Professionals working with Veterans and/or Military Families to:

• Provide Insight on "How to" address specific issues Veterans & Military Families face. 
• Identify Local Resources who can help and support Veterans

Roles and Criteria:

• Network members participate in social media groups to identify potential Needs and/or Veterans seeking support
• Network members participate in networking groups (online or onsite) to identify potential Needs and/or Veterans seeking support
• Conduct one-on-one or small group sessions to share information and or resources to Veterans and or Military Families

Areas of Specialty:
​Areas where Professional is currently working or have the most experience

1. Education -  Academic Counselors and those helping students with academic goals and educational plans
2. Employment - Job Coach or someone dedicated to helping with resume writing and job seeking skills
3. Entrepreneurship - Business Coach, Consultant or Instructor who helps guide in the Start-Up process
4. Wellness - Life-Coach or Wellness Trainers helping with everyday wellbeing
