The goal as a supervisor is to be able to help employees find their drive and their true "personal-motivator". Motivation is based on self discovery, no one can motivate others, effective supervisors are able to "coach" employees on way to find their own Internal (Intrinsic) motivation drive.

Empowered employees show stronger commitment to the job and feel more connected to the organization.
